Rochester Red Wings Series Review: April 6th-April 8th

One of the hardest things to predict in the Northeast in April is the weather.  Unfortunately for the Rochester Red Wings and their fans, they found that out the hard way as the minor league baseball season kicked off.  All three of the Red Wings scheduled games were postponed due to Mother Nature’s other plans.

Rochester was scheduled to host the Buffalo Bison’s to start the 2018 season.  It just wasn’t meant to be and the postponements, which have to be schedule makers worst nightmares, are going to most likely force three double headers at some point.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate Monday so the Red Wings can try it all over again.  This time their opponent will be the rival Syracuse Chiefs.

Aaron Slegers who was supposed to start the season opener is still scheduled to pitch Rochester’s opener.
